Carpool Info
General Carpool Protocols
- Parents may not exit their vehicles while in the carpool line. Carpool monitors will assist students entering and exiting vehicles. If you need to exit your vehicle, please park.
- If your child needs help with projects or equipment, turning on your hazard lights will signal to the monitors that you child needs extra help.
- The use of all electronic devices (including texting) is not permitted at any time while driving on campus.
- Parents picking up Middle Schoolers OR both Lower & Middle Schoolers during afternoon carpool should not arrive on campus before 3:35 p.m.
Carpool Routes & Information
- Here is a link to our Carpool Routes map.
- Westheimer Entrance: Families with students in grades 6-8 ONLY (no younger siblings) may utilize the Westheimer entrance for morning dropoff.
- All others should enter campus via Willowick for morning dropoff.
- Drivers may exit onto Willowick or Westheimer (right turn only).
- We appreciate your patience and encourage you to exercise caution if using the Westheimer entrance/exit. We anticipate delays at the start of school due to ongoing construction on Westheimer.
Walkers & Bikers
Dropoff
- Walkers and bikers entering via Willowick should not arrive at the Willowick crosswalk before 7:30 a.m. and should wait to be directed across the street by an HPD officer or security personnel.
- Westheimer Gate
- Please notify Erin Breen (LS) or Mackenzie Wilhide (MS) if your child will be using this pedestrian gate to enter or exit campus.
- Walkers and bikers entering via the Westheimer gate MUST cross Westheimer at the Drexel or Willowick intersections. Our security personnel cannot direct/stop Westheimer traffic in front of this gate. It is not safe to cross Westheimer here.
- Students who ride a bike to school should walk the bike while on campus and secure it to a bike rack.
- Parents are welcome to walk their children to campus but may not walk them to their classrooms. Hugs and goodbyes should happen outside the buildings.
Pick up
- Any student who is walking or biking home should be designated as a walker/biker in the activity section of SchoolPass for the day(s) that he/she is walking or biking.
- All student walkers/bikers are dismissed at one time before carpool begins.
- Parent walkers who wish to pick up their children should wait at the designated walkup location.
PRO TIP: Make a plan with your child about what they should do if it’s raining. We will release students to walk or bike home unless there is lightning nearby, in which case you will receive a notification to pick up through the carpool line.
Carpool During Inclement Weather
- Lightning in the immediate area: We may stop or delay carpool until it is safe to continue. If carpool is stopped or delayed, DO NOT get out of your car to pick up your child. We will release them when it is safe.
- Raining but no lightning: Carpool will continue but is always a little slower. Thanks for your patience!
- Walkers & Bikers: If the School determines it is unsafe for walkers and bikers to be released during LS carpool, we will hold them until MS carpool (3:35 p.m.). If at that time it is still unsafe, we will ask you to come and pick up all walkers and bikers through the carpool line. This information will be communicated via text.

Emergency Notifications
You must have a wireless phone number and email address in the profile section of your MyROBS account to receive emergency notifications. The alert system will be used during the school year to communicate urgent information such as school closure due to inclement weather, emergency situations, and important updates. Notifications are delivered via voice, text, and email messages.
Delays, Closures, & Early Dismissal
- We will communicate any School delays, closures, and early dismissals via phone call and text to the emergency phone numbers you have listed in your Profile.

Health Clinic Notifications
Parents are notified each time your child visits the nurse’s office. If the visit is of no immediate concern, you will receive a general notification email stating the reason for the visit and any treatment that was provided.
