Experienced Problem-solvers
Tackling difficult physics concepts as the teacher asks probing questions. Negotiating several possible directions for a group project and navigating the social dynamics to achieve the goal. Solving a practical dilemma like how to do homework when the computer fails.
Through concerted practice, your child will become an experienced problem-solver during the Middle School years. We encourage students to embrace a mindset of curiosity, asking “why?” and “I wonder what will happen if…?” instead of “is this on the test?” Children are inspired to become changemakers by considering and creating solutions to real-world challenges. Imaginations are unleashed through lively discourse, trial and error, and collaborative effort. For ROBS students, education goes far beyond rote learning. Here, every project not only increases knowledge; it enriches understanding.
