Empowered Samaritans
A deep dedication to service education is woven into the cultural fabric of our school. Your child will come to understand Jesus’ call to love and serve our neighbors because he will be out there doing it. We spread our service projects across three strands—environmental sustainability, poverty, and service to those who serve us—so that when our students leave here, they will understand some of the world’s challenges and how they can help address them.
One grade-level and two all-school service projects each year keep the never-ending needs in our community on students’ minds. Your child will recycle crayons and write notes of appreciation to our troops abroad. He will package rice and beans for local food pantries and perform at a day care center for seniors. We hope you will make it a family tradition to participate in our Martin Luther King, Jr. All-School Day of Service, when the entire ROBS community comes together to support programs like Mission Centers, Kids’ Meals, and Books Between Kids.
