Human nature drives even the smallest among us to create, to build, to innovate. Construction centers in every Preschool classroom puts endless tools for creation in your child’s eager hands. Students are learning to think mathematically and scientifically as they put shapes together to form new shapes and use spatial thinking to make their structures sturdier.
Playful activities are purposefully designed with engineering design challenges in mind: Today in our water unit, your child will build a carwash for Hot Wheels cars. Next week during our transportation unit, she will design a freeway with on and off ramps. Next month as we study where we live, he will erect a multi-story skyscraper. And at every turn, your child will be exercising creativity, learning basic principles of physical science and math, and building oral language and social skills to collaborate with friends.
